Stunning lakeside views set in the heart of Delamere Forest.

The Carriers Inn has been open for over 300 years and the name is related to the wagoners or carriers who used to stop here for a well deserved break overlooking Hatchmere Lake on their way to the port of Frodsham with agricultural produce, salt, cheese and other wares for loading onto sailing ships and barges. It was also home to the village Blacksmith many years ago.

We have space for over 200 plus guests in our garden so there is plenty of room.

We will use quality, local suppliers in and around our community to serve you great food. Our meat is sourced from a family butchers that have been in business for over 90 years, our grocery suppliers are from Chester & Warrington and our fruit and veg suppliers are from Wilmslow & Knutsford. We promise to source locally wherever possible.

The food menu at the Carriers Inn has been created to give you a wide choice of classic pub food food with something for everybody and for all tastes.
Our new summer menu includes the all new "Chick & Mix" where you can create your chicken dish just the way you like it with over 40 different combinations you can mix it up how you want it.

The always popular "Pub Food Classics" are a big hit and we have added some great new dishes including Steak Frites, Sausage & Mash, Chilli Con Carne and Florentine Fishcakes.

Our famous "Ultimate" range of burgers, pizzas and hot dogs are not for the faint hearted and we have added some new creations for you to enjoy but our signature burger, The Hacienda is still our most popular.

We have added a brand new range of Loaded Fries back to the menu by popular demand including Fairground Fries and Katsu Chicken Salt & Pepper Fries.

Our drinks list features a selection inspired by everyday freshness meeting deliciousness. Our liquid concoctions have been inspired by classic cocktails, showcasing seasonal ingredients and trendy flavors.
Gins
We like nothing more than sitting in our amazing beer garden overlooking Hatchmere Lake with a great Gin & Tonic to drink and a bowl of olives to nibble on. We offer a wide selection of all varieties of Gins and the appropriate garnishes to match. We serve our Gins over lots of ice in Gin Balloon glasses for the full experience. Ask us about our "Gin of the Month" to discover even more exciting flavours.
Ales, Ciders & Stout
Let the experts pour you the perfect pint. We have Wainwrights Gold available on traditional hand pump and we have Beavertown Neck Oil IPA on draught as well as a selection of bottled ales. Our draught ciders are Thatchers Gold and Old Mout Berries & Cherries and we have Bulmers and Old Mout flavoured cider in bottles. We are proud to serve Guinness to perfection, did you know that it takes 119.5 seconds to pour the perfect pint !
Lagers
Enjoy one of our ice cold lagers - on draught we have Peroni, Birra Moretti, San Miguel & Carling. We also have a selection of bottled lager for you to choose from including Sol, Becks and Budweiser.
Wines
We have created an awesome wine list from around the world for you to pair and enjoy with our great food. With something for all tastes its simply about drinking what you enjoy.
Spirits
We have a great range of Whisky, Vodka, Rum and other spirits for you to enjoy before, during or after your meal with us. Ask your server for our current selections of your favourite tipple.
Champagnes & Fizz
